As a child, I drew a lot. All the time.

Then I stopped drawing and some time later I started writing stories, taking photos, and filming short films.

My son Jan draws a lot. All the time. He's drawn thousands of things, but now he mostly draws animals.

One day I was watching him draw and I felt a real envy. He was so focused, so absorbed in his own world, that I just wanted to join him and feel the same way.

A pencil, a piece of paper, and getting lost.

So I decided to go back to drawing. As well as filming and writing.

With no other aim than to unleash some ideas that are floating around, escape from the screens and try to reach that trance of lines and colors.
